Let’s Grow – Morrison’s vouchers

The Morrison’s Let’s Grow scheme finishes on Sunday 1st November 2009. Please remember to send in any vouchers you have collected for us in order that we can ‘purchase’ lots of resources for our Local Food project.

Interested in Fostering?

On Tuesday 27th October at 7.00 pm at the Orsett Hall, Thurrock Fostering in partnership with Thurrock Council, will be holding an open evening for anyone interested in fostering. For more information call 0800 652 1256 or visit www.thurrockfostering.gov.uk.

Un-named Clothing

It is that time of year again when children are taking off their fleeces and coats during breaks and leaving them around the school. Named clothing is returned to the correct owner - unnamed clothing cannot, and as such we have lots of lost property already piling up. Please ensure that property is claimed within seven days.

Tuck Shop

It has been brought to our attention this week that many children are bringing money to school. The only money that pupils should bring to school is dinner money and a maximum of 50p tuck money.

Football Cards

These are causing arguments in the playground. Could we please ask parents to ensure that these are kept at home. Thank you for your co-operation.

And finally…

…we say goodbye and good luck to Mrs Carter, who is leaving today to have her baby. All the pupils and staff (and I am sure many parents too) send their good wishes to you as you begin the next exciting chapter in your life. Keep us posted!

Please remember to put clocks back this Sunday 25th October

As next week is the Autumn half term holiday we will see you back

at school at 8.50 am on Monday 2nd November.
